Spring Meeting 2018 Summary

On Monday 23rd April 2018 our spring meeting was kindly hosted by The National Archives.

Marianne Wilson offered an opportunity to view key reformation archives following on from TNA’s successful Reformation on the Record in 2017, marking the 500th anniversary of the beginning of the Protestant Reformation.

Jo Pugh and Philip Gale highlighted resources useful for historic house archivists and gave a valuable overview of developments with the Discovery catalogue at TNA- which includes the new facility to allow Discovery to host collection catalogues on behalf of archives. Melinda Haunton gave a presentation on using archive service accreditation as a management tool which was followed by a presentation from Stuart Abraham which updated us on current thinking around GDPR implications for archivists.
